We keep coming back to this beautiful hotel because the quality of the service, the pool, the beach and the food are outstanding. This year it has been kind of funny with the Covid19 protocols they have implemented, but we felt totally safe and at ease. Strict with face masks and disinfection protocols but very gentle with a delicate human touch.
We were very lucky to see the milky way on a dark night from the beach,
Thanks to everybody in the hotel for granting us a perfect experience!
Due to the pandemic and hotels closing we only found out our destination hotel two hours before departing our house! This gave us no time to check out the Playa Club, we just had to take a chance it would be acceptable. We needn't have worried. We were warmly greeted despite it being close to midnight and the friendly receptionist made sure we had full knowledge of rules and regulations and safety on site including the measures installed to keep the place hygienic and reduce the risk of spreading Covid. There were very few people that had taken the chance of travelling to Menorca so the pool area was pretty deserted, luckily for us. However the staff were magnificent, they attended to every whim and adapted perfectly for the unusual circumstances. Excellent work in keeping the hotel clean and safe. The pool was beautiful, a huge area with lots of empty sunloungers all socially distanced with an attentive Life Guard on duty who spent his spare time cleaning and wiping down beds and equipment. The lack of holidaymakers made dining a pleasure with ample choices on offer, plenty of starters plus fresh fruit with a selection of meats and fish to be cooked to your liking along with lots of side dishes to add to the meal. The desserts were plentiful and often we were too full to take advantage. The dining experience was carefully planned and executed to keep guests apart and worked like clockwork. Breakfast was eggs, bacon and cereals as well as fruit and the pool bar served snacks such as hamburgers, baguettes, chips etc. All the staff were wonderful and helpful and we commend them for their efforts in making our stay a relaxing and comfortable one without fear. Our apartment was one bedroom which was plenty for the three of us and the shower was high powered and all in all we would highly recommend this lovely hotel. The guys in the pool bar deserve high praise along with the reception ladies and the Jefes Pool Bar lady who runs the snacks and drinks who worked very hard. If you do get to visit here there is a lovely little beach just out the back of the hotel a couple of hundred yards away. We went back late most nights to star gaze and listen to the waves. Amazing clear skies and so peaceful. The centre of Cala'n Bosch is about a 20 minute flat walk either along the beach or down the roads. Pleasant walk though and a couple of shops etc en route
A good hotel but at corona times, breakfast was a bit poor. In general, good value and the location is amazing.. a few meters from the Son Xoriguer beach! The pool outside and inside are very practical but during Corona you have to make an appointment for the inside pool and other things like the gym. I would come back!
