Firstly the free shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel, and later from the hotel back to the airport was excellent. All of the hotel staff we came into contact with were friendly and, the reception staff were helpful. The breakfast and evening meals were good, with a wide and varied selection. Our room was clean with a large bathroom. It also had a balcony. The price for the room was reasonable. There was no free WiFi in the rooms
I stayed in Pinero Tal once last year and two times this year.
The hotel ticks all the boxes: there’s a great quality/ price ration. The price is fair.
The room is quite substantial in size, the balcony can boast a beautiful sight of the sea and enjoys the sun almost entire day. The meals are great: a decent variety for breakfast and absolutely amazing dinner with tasty paella (my favorite).
But the best feature of the hotel is the staff - caring, eager to help you in every way, always smiling and welcome. Mr Josu in the reception department is highly professional, polite, supportive. He knows all the guests and welcomes them as if he is a great friend rather than a staff member.
Looking forward to coming to Pinero Tal again and thank you, guys, for your Spanish hospitality.
I stayed at the Pinero Tal Hotel recently with a friend, whilst we were visiting the island. We stayed here for 7 nights all inclusive and our room was located on the second floor.
The hotel was situated on a very steep hill, which you had to walk up and down to get to the shops and beach etc. Something to consider if you have any difficulties with walking. I also wouldn’t recommend driving, if you are going to stay here. Limited parking spaces available in the area and hotel doesn’t have a car park.
Check in was quick, we just had to pay our tourist tax on arrival which worked out at about €4.40 per day. The hotel lifts were very small and a bit dated. We only just managed to fit in with our luggage. We decided to use the stairs for the rest of our stay to allow people more in need of the lifts to use them. Our room was kept to a good standard every day of our stay, clean towels provided when we wanted them. All the rooms came with a balcony, not much to view as it is a residential area, but it was nice to have our own personal outside space. The walls in the room were thin, but we never experienced any issues with too much disruption or noise.
The food was of good quality, we enjoyed it. Breakfast offered the same options everyday, but lunch and dinner did have different choices for each day of our stay. The restaurant area was kept clean and food was always being topped up. They also offered packed lunch, if you were heading on a day excursion, these have to be ordered the night before. The packed lunch consisted of a variety of bread rolls, meat, cheese, eggs, olive oil satchets, fruit, croissants and a bottle of water.
We used the swimming pool often. The pool and area surrounding the pool were in good condition. The sun beds were also comfortable and clean. We took advantage of using the bar area, there was some entertainment in the evenings which included singers and bingo etc. The bar stopped serving drinks at 11pm.
Free WiFi is available in the reception and bar area of the hotel, you can pay to have a connection in your room, but we decided against this, as it was easy enough to go downstairs if we did require the internet. Many other guests did the same.
Overall, for the price we paid, we did have a pleasant stay here.
The staff were all polite, friendly and helpful. I would return, if I did visit the area again, as it is close to the beach and easy access to the capital city of Palma.
