Hipotels Mediterraneo Hotel Hotel is an adults-only hotel on Majorca's east coast. It's close to Playa es Fogons Beach and is within walking distance of Sa Coma Town centre, which has a selection of bars, restaurants and shops. The resort is known for its promenade that runs along the sandy beach. There's an outdoor pool, as well as several restaurants, a spa and a gym at Hipotels Mediterraneo Hotel Hotel. It has a traditional Spanish decor, and Mediterranean-style outdoor areas lined with palm trees. You can eat at the buffet restaurant for both breakfast and dinner, while you can also dine at the two a la carte restaurants that are open during the evening. There are two bars at the hotel, one of which serves a selection of drinks and light snacks during the day. The hotel staff organise activities in the daytime and entertainment in the evenings. A variety of sports options are also available to enjoy. Sa Coma is quieter than many of the resorts surrounding Palma, and evening entertainment is usually based within the hotels. A short drive away is the town of Cala Millor, which has a bustling nightlife scene with plenty of clubs, bars and restaurants open until late.
Hipotels Mediterraneo Hotel is 50m from Playa es Fogons Beach and 400m from the town centre of Sa Como. Parts of the surrounding area have been designated as nature reserves, so you can take a walk along the coastline and try and spot some of the local wildlife. If you want to explore more local sights, you can take a short drive to the hidden caves of Cuevas del Drach with their subterranean lake. The harbour town and traditional fishing village of Porto Cristo is also within driving distance. Here, people tend to take part in activities such as hiking, cycling and horse riding.
A variety of international cuisine is available for breakfast and dinner at the buffet restaurant. The two a la carte restaurants at the hotel serve Japanese food and Spanish tapas, both of which have taster menus. There's a pool bar as well as another bar.
Hipotels Mediterraneo Hotel puts on entertainment in the evenings, while various sporting facilities such as tennis and squash courts are also available.
The rooms are decorated in a bright, modern style, and have a balcony or terrace. All have air conditioning and a satellite TV.

Absolutely fabulous .
Beach all sand. Ideal for families or couples.
Only down side is the journey from the airport. It's a good hour or so by coach. About an hour by taxi subject to traffic.
We went all inclusive and they cooked dishes from every country.
Would definitely go back.
Rooms very clean and tidy. Grounds also.
My 3 children (11, 9 & 6) and I have just come back from a week at this hotel. The week didn't start too well as the weather was extremely stormy but the saving grace was our very well equipped, clean and spacious apartment which had a wonderful view of the lovely beach at Sa Coma.
The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The food was well varied and plentiful. There is a main restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and a self serve cafe open between lunch and dinner times. You'll never go hungry!
The pool areas were well maintained and due to it being the end of the season, were pretty quiet so sunbeds were always available however, they were all freezing, even the splash pool! I couldn't cope with the water temperatures but the children didn't mind as much.
Can't comment too much on the kids clubs because my oldest 2 didn't want to partake (because there were no other English speaking children there at the time) but my 6 year old did say she really enjoyed herself for the 1 afternoon session she went to! Also, we didn't stay to watch any of the evening entertainment so can't say anything about that either.
Something to note about this hotel, especially if you have young children and/or you're on your own with them, is that the accommodation and it's facilities are divided by a main road. I may well have not booked this hotel had I known this before hand however it wasn't as bad as I thought it might have been when I first realised. It is worth bearing in mind though if you're having to carry towels, inflatables, bags, pushchairs and hold little hands all at the same time!
The beach here is also worth a mention. Clean, soft sand and sunbeds at 5 Euro a day. It's really good!
Overall, although it wasn't perfect, everything was totally fine and we had a good holiday.
We hardly could find any drawbacks, as far as the accommodation and services are concerned. The room was clean and comfortable, with a king size bed for two small children, and a two beds for adults on the 2nd floor. The cleaning lady Susana did her job very well. The place offers a good reastaurant, more swimming pools with palm islands, Hipiland children's playground and many shopping facilities and bars nearby. You find a nice Mediterranean sandy beach 1 minute walking from your room. In Sa Coma resort there are many other shopping and entertainment options. The climate allows to extend the summer season up to October.
