Amare Beach is a 4-star, adults only hotel on Ibiza's western coast. It's steps from a sandy beach and a short drive from the party capital of San Antonio. There's plenty to see and do for the more relaxed traveller too; the island is also famous for its peaceful villages and rich history.
If you fancy a swim you’ll have a choice of three pools, or you can relax on the sun terrace or in a jacuzzi. Chill out in the spa with its beauty treatments, inspired by the sea, or take part in one of the exercise classes. What’s offered varies from day to day but includes yoga, aqua gym, TRX exercises and personal training.
There are two poolside bars offering a signature cocktail collection by master mixologist Diego Cabrera and a snack menu. In the evening enjoy the DJ set and live music shows. Or for an alternative view head up to the rooftop bar. For a full meal there’s a buffet restaurant offering breakfast and dinner, prepared from healthy Mediterranean ingredients. Eat on the sun terrace or stay inside to watch the show cooking. Between May and October the Hayacna provides an additional dining option. The focus here is on South American cuisine. Will you dare to try the chef’s special dessert - Tapioca with boozy Canchanchara and Psidium ice-cream?
Rooms are equipped with a furnished terrace, 49” TV, soundbar, Nespresso coffee machine, air-conditioning, a safe and mini-bar. Plus you won’t just get any chair, you’ll get a Rattan hanging one, perfect for daydreaming in. And the free WiFi isn’t just available in your room, you can use it on the beach too! Parking is also available nearby (surcharge payable.)
There are a wide selection of restaurants and bars near the hotel, selling local and international food. San Antonio, 4km away, is home to a number of famous clubs and bars, where you can party with the backdrop of a stunning sunset. Don’t pass up the opportunity to visit Ibiza town, the island's capital, either. It’s home to 16th-century ramparts, as well as Playa d'en Bossa, the longest beach on the island.
The more adventurous may be interested to know the ferry port is very close to the hotel, making a day trip to the small historic city of Denia possible. Follow the footsteps of the English raisin traders of the 1800s, to visit a place not many British tourists head to. The heritage has been influenced by Iberian, Greek, Roman, Islamic, Napoleonic and Christian civilisations. Don’t miss the large 11th-century Moorish castle, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.
