My mum and I stayed at Sandos El Greco for a week early September 2020 and the holiday was faultless! Beautiful hotel with amazing views, good food and friendly staff (it is definitely worth going all inclusive, and upgrading to the Royal Elite package which guarantees a great sea view room, premium brand drinks and access to the lovely beach bar). Extra mention for Emma the Reception Manager who went above and beyond to make our stay thoroughly enjoyable (Sandos keep hold of her, she’s a gem!)...and lastly a big thank you to Juan the Entertainment Manager who constantly kept spirits up for all holidaymakers during these uncertain times, always full of energy and happy to please, a very talented guy...we expect to see him on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ soon!
I loved this place! it was so relaxing and chilled. Food was good, drinks for all inclusive were good! Very clean, the public ways were clean.
I like the idea of laying on a water tap for filling your own water bottles! (Very green) Evening entertainment was laid on, needed at the hotel as it’s so remote..
We feel due to covid 19... the staff worked well having to wear the mask 😷 in that heat. Very friendly and welcoming.
As for the rooms, they were very comfortable. Again clean, more attention needed on the marks in your new basins though.
Just one fault.
In our room we feel the attention to replenishing the tea coffee and milk, we had to ask or take it from the restaurant.. and soap dispenser was empty too that was poor we thought.
The area is remote, lovely beach, a little expensive for sun beds though. Council run we think.
The pool is lovely at the hotel with a hot tub and loungers.
I feel if this hotel was open for a few months in the winter months, it would be great for walkers. I would book.
Thank you El Greco.
An absolutely fabulous break on every level, we've been to a lot lesser official 5*s. Service, value for money, location, all top drawer. Food quality and range of drinks on offer is excellent. Elite Beach Club a very worthwhile treat!
