Playasol Mare Nostrum is a hotel in the heart of Playa d'en Bossa, one of the most famous resorts on Ibiza. While it caters to families with children, it's particularly popular with young adults and those who want to experience the island's famous nightlife. Playa d'en Bossa beach is a few steps away from the hotel, where you can relax on the sand and take a dip in the Mediterranean Sea. You can swim at the hotel's outdoor swimming pool or sunbathe on the surrounding terrace. There's also a separate pool for children to splash about in. Playasol Mare Nostrum has its own tennis court, and there's a multi-sports court where you can play games. The hotel has a gym where you can work out. For children, there's a kids' club and a playground, as well as a playroom and games room. There's also a club for teenagers. The hotel has a buffet restaurant and three bars, including one by the pool for drinks in the sunshine. You'll be able to find a variety of other restaurants and bars in Playa d'en Bossa, such as those serving local dishes. In the evenings, the resort comes to life as it's filled with a host of well-known nightclubs that tend to stay open late.
Mare Nostrum is 150m away from Playa d'en Bossa, the longest on the island. The nearest supermarket is 250m from the hotel, where you can buy food, drink and other holiday essentials. In Playa d'en Bossa, you'll find beach clubs dotted along the shore, where DJs are often invited to play music sets throughout the day and night. A 3km drive away from the resort will take you to the capital of the island, Ibiza Town, where you can stroll along the harbour. You can also explore the fortified Old Town here, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The hotel has a buffet restaurant that's open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It serves Mediterranean cuisine. There's a pool bar where you can get soft and alcoholic drinks throughout the day, and the lobby bar stays open into the evening. You can also get light lunches at the snack bar.
You can spend the day at the resort's water park, which has a selection of water slides, rides and swimming pools to splash about in.
The hotel's bright rooms are decorated with pops of colour. They have a balcony or terrace, air conditioning, a safe and a flatscreen TV.

Choose your board basis
Stayed for a long weekend in September for a sun/party holiday.
The room was clean and basic, but just what i'd expected for the price we paid.
We had a balcony that was great and private for us to sit out and enjoy the views.
We went on half board initially but after it costing 10 euros for two drinks we quickly realised how much it was going to cost for day time drinks alone.
Reception was great, they upgraded us on the spot for an additional cost, it also meant we could get the snack bar as well as the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets too.
The food, plenty of choice, hot and cold food stations always available and the staff quick to clear away empty plates.
It's a very lively hotel, plenty of people coming and going most of the day and night, so don't expect tranquille evenings of peace. But most people are good and nothing silly happened whilst we were there.
Good to note that there wasn't a lot of english people in this hotel, it was a good mixture of all sorts of nationalities there too, which personally find is a good mix. No lads, lads lads types of groups.
It's a big chain and theres lots of these hotels in Ibiza and i'd be happy to try another hotel in this group.
Really enjoyed our brief stay at this hotel...as soon as they knew it was my birthday, we were treated to a bottle of Cava, which was a fabulous extra touch and were made to feel special by the bar and restaurant staff.
We upgraded to a room by the upper swimming pool, which is worth the extra money, I’d say, as they were beautifully fitted out and gave you a sun terrace right by the pool.
Given a longer stay, I’d definitely make use of this!
A great introduction to the White Isle - thank you very much!
Warm welcome, clean rooms, nice pool area.
Good air con, gym if you want one? Drinks prices are reasonable.
Clubs are walking distance. (Ushuaia,Hii,bora)
Booked here for next year !
