The Check in process was seamless and oh so welcoming. I upgraded our room and must admit the view was worth it. the rooms are clean and well kept.
If your going to visit ask for Jarvis when you get there his attention to detail is exceptional my fiance likes spicy food and Jarvis made a special sauce just for him. it was so good he had the same cheeseburger 3 times and suggested that I recreate said sauce lol when we return home. I must admit we made the same request to another waiter when Jarvis was off but the effort and attention to detail just wasnt the same Jarvis had spoiled us. If your looking for a getaway with friends I would suggest you get an airbnb as socializing in small groups are not encouraged due to the COVID-19 policies. Also the menu options are limited so if your looking to disappear with your significant other and rekindle the old spark (wink wink) then this is the place for you. In terms of Covid- 19 policies and protocols i must admit they did a very good job to good to be honest hence my suggestion for a romantic getaway only not a group vacation. There are sanitizing stations at every turn with signs and instructions. There were a few deficiencies like for example the bathroom sink would not drain so once i closed the sinks drain to wash the makeup off my face i was unable to open the drain to let the water out the sink. this was a minor inconvenience and considering the length of my stay nothing worth immediate attention. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The resort is clean and sanitized it is perfect for a couple that simply needs a getaway from work and the kids. I recommend a short stay as the menu was limited so after a while unless Jarvis made your sandwich you will get tired of eating the same thing . All of the food was amazing except for the deserts at dinner. I love tiramisu so i was very disappointed when i received mine after dinner. My fiance and i enjoyed playing the games we laughed so hard as i won every game. The game selection is really great. The drink selection is amazing however i suggest you pace your self as the bartenders are very good at their job so you will feel inclined to drink your drink a little to fast because they taste so nice. As i checked out I attempted to address a few minor concerns however the response i received was not worth me being annoyed at the end of my stay as overall i did have a nice time. This is the slow season so we pretty much had the hotel to ourselves which was amazing. Would i return again yes but only with my fiance not as a couples retreat like we attempted to do this weekend.
Being a flight attendant for almost 20 years, I have stayed in numerous resorts all around the world. This was an excellent choice on Paradise island. I stayed there with my team for 2 weeks during Christmas and NYE.
The hotel offers a swimming pool and a private beach. Cabbage beach is also in the vicinity. The rooms are big, very comfortable and with a great view!
A lot of activities also take place on a daily basis.
The hotel has a strict policy regarding Covid-19 Pandemic. Sanitisers are placed everywhere, social distance marks are also placed on floors and a recent negative test is required before checking in.
All staff is friendly and polite, ready to assist with all requirements. I was very impressed by the proactiveness of the Manager who had my favourite bike prepared everyday as soon as I came down to pick it up. This was going the extra mile in order to satisfy a customer. Well Done!
Congratulations for the great customer service skills to Ms Shama and Mr Kristephano Culmer at the front desk and all staff involved for making our stay enjoyable. You have exceeded our expectations!
I would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay on Paradise Island.
Warning! Do not go to this resort. I was there the week between Christmas and New Years. We checked in and immediately regretted making the reservations. This hotel is not ready to open, it is not prepared for to protect its patrons from spreading Covid19.
The rooms were not clean, they put all visitors on the same floor next to one another (why could you not at least go every other room and use at least three floors? Social Distance?) the staff was “loose” with there mask. They had a “karaoke” and the leader thought passing the mic around to each person without it being cleaned was smart.
The fruit at breakfast was not ripe and the juices were bitter. The lunch menu was basically a bar menu, mostly fried food.
The pool had just been filled and was freezing. The hot tube was not open. Only one restaurant per night was open with very limited menu.
The bicycles had clearly not been maintained since Pre pandemic and were rusty and tires flat. They just were not ready.
We checked out after one day, And ... they refused any level of refund. Wow, just wow.
Don’t go, you’ll put yourself in harms way.
