This is not luxury. No lazing by the pool all day - AS IT DOES NOT HAVE ONE, but very very good hotel, for the price, for those who enjoy a few nights away from restaurant, with stunning balcony views
We have been twice. On our first visit, we changed rooms. We even checkout out other rooms, for our return visit. So, on our second visit, we emailed Meechi, the manageress, to reserve the room we wanted - 34.
Great room. Great views. Massive balcony.
So breakfast was our own thing on the balcony, watching the yachts, the stunning views etc. Lovely and relaxing start to the day.
Right opposite 50-80m is the jetty with two bars, coffee shops on the low level, both serve breakfast, lunches if needed. then Cloggies restaurant on the first floor.
its 10-15 min walk to the beach
All staff great. Simply order ice, up to the room within minutes to chill your drink on the balcony !!
Wifi greatly improved and excellent, compared to even 12 months earlier
No restaurant. No pool. so not for everyone who wants those things - book elsewhere.
on incline - so gets your legs & lungs going, depending what level you are at. But if not in good health, the staff will always take you on the golf buggies up to your room
LOVED IT AGAIN. Had Christmas here, despite Covid.
THANKS AGAIN MEECHI & TEAM AYCM
Well here I am its 22.47 on December the 26th and the music from the bar across from the hotel is so loud the coffin lids are moving in the graveyard down the road .(the bar is owned by the resort as I believe ).for the owners and management of the hotel to allow this to happen and allow this sort of disturbance to their so called valued guests .is an appalling situation.
We stayed in the hotel side - large room and bathroom - the room has fridge but not kettle. The room was cleaned every day and the views overlooking the harbour are amazing. Special thanks to Meechi on reception who managed to answer and resolve all questions and did some bookings for us. this place is central to all bars and restaurants and there were more opening during the last few days of our holiday. Island was on 11pm curfew whilst there and you had to be back at your hotel by this time. Recommend SeaBreeze across the road for breakfast
