The Inn At English Harbour Antigua

The hotel is ideally located on the captivating island of Antigua - one of the many islands dotting the Caribbean Sea. The hotel is perfectly positioned on a beautiful wooded headland, which stands guard to the entrance of historic English Harbour. The centre of English Harbour with its restaurants, bars, pubs, nightspots, shopping venues and connections to the local public transport network is about 500 m away.

The elegant and exclusive beach hotel perfectly combines the colonial-style building with luxurious and contemporary comfort. It has only 28 rooms built on 7.2 hectares of green land ensuring privacy and seclusion. In addition to a lobby with 24-hour check-in and check-out services, amenities at this air-conditioned establishment include a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, café, hairdressing salon and bars. There is also a games room, TV lounge and restaurants, as well as WLAN Internet access and room and laundry services. A bike hire service is available, and guests arriving by car may use the hotel car park. Younger guests can let off some steam at the children's playground.

In addition to a private veranda or terrace and a private bathroom with a shower and hairdryer, all rooms come with a ceiling fan, individually regulated air conditioning units, safe, cable TV, minibar, direct dial telephone, flat-screen TV, iPod station and Internet access. A double or king-sized bed is a further standard feature and tea and coffee making facilities are provided.

One of the best places we’ve stayed! The beach cabana is just phenomenal in every way - could of stayed forever! The whole hotel is stunning and immaculate. The staff are wonderful and so incredibly kind and helpful - the service is so quick and the food and cocktails .. delicious! I recommend The Prince! Perfect location (best on the island) and right on the water. Thank you to all at The Inn and of course Fabio.. your all wonderful! This was our first time in Antigua and we are so pleased we stayed here. The Inn is one the best hotels we have been to. The staff are amazing and work really hard. They couldn't do enough for us. The rooms are decorated tastefully and were very comfortable. There has been lots of comments on other reviews regarding the evening meals. Well what experienced was some of the best food we have eaten in hotels. We couldn't fault it at all. The thursday beach bbq was really great too. The hotel is on a wonderful quite and calm bay. Its a lovely walk along here to look at the boats moored in the bay. We were lucky enough to be here when it was the Super Yacht Challenge week and the sight of the j class boats going out every morning was wonderful when you were laying on your sunbed. The complimentary boat to Nelsons Dockyard is a lovely touch. The dockyard is nice to stroll around and have a drink or bite to eat in the cafes and restaurants there. We will definitely being going back to Antigua and The Inn. Hopefully next year. It was like being at a lovely retreat. Thank you The Inn for a wonderful 11 nights.

We stayed here for six days last year and ten days this year. We have returned because having changed destination in the Caribbean every year we felt that we had found the perfect destination. It is absolutely delightful. The most important point within any hotel is the staff. It is difficult to write on this as each and everyone were sensational. Totally professional, but also personable and very friendly. Indeed being a returner you are truly feeling that you are returning to friends.

Last year we only had a couple of small comments which related to the comfort of the chairs within the apartment. Within the first 12 hours of arriving they fitted very acceptable and comfortable seat pads to the internal chairs, whilst installing lovely new chairs on the balcony. Thank you again. Are only other comment was that we wished to return to the same apartment and they ensured that we did.

The breakfast and lunch are served beside the beach and are wonderful, whilst the evening meals are served near the reception, at the top of the hill. A car is sent down to take you up as it is a truly formidable slope. The evening meal has been criticised in the past and indeed we were not impressed last year. This year it was much improved, which is why we used it a number of times. Last year we would have probably given it 2 out of 10, well this year it has improved to a solid 7.

As there are only a couple of dozen apartments the large beach and beautiful pool provide plenty of space for all. Whilst on the beach each day you are furnished with towels, water, a fruit kebab and a cold flannel. Clearly drinks can also be ordered.

A wonderful boat and captain are on call throughout the day to drop you around the corner to Nelson’s Dockyard and in the evening restaurants also around the corner will send boats to pick you up. You simply make the booking via reception.

My wife and I are thinking that we should not write something so glowing as we don’t want to find we cannot return due to being too popular.

Thank you management and in particular thank you to the wonderful staff. We both wish you well, keep safe and trust that you all come through this current crisis fit and well.
