Dankzij de strategische locatie is het hotel de ideale bestemming voor alle gasten die de toeristische attracties van Barcelona willen ontdekken: het voetbalstadion Camp Nou en het museum van FC Barcelona liggen op 400 meter afstand. Verschillende restaurants zijn in de directe omgeving van het hotel te vinden en de binnenstad en de winkels liggen op ongeveer 50 meter afstand. Het is vanaf de wooneenheden ongeveer 5 minuten lopen naar uitgaansgelegenheden en het is ongeveer 1,5 km naar het station. De zee en het zandstrand bevinden zich op circa 5 km en 7 km van het hotel. Het stadscentrum van Barcelona ligt op ongeveer 6 km afstand en de luchthaven Barcelona El Prat De Llobregat ligt op ongeveer 9 km van het hotel.Dit moderne, minimalistische en kosmopolitische stadshotel met 31 kamers heeft een zaal met grote glazen ramen. Draadloze internettoegang is door het gehele complex beschikbaar, zodat de gasten met hun eigen laptop het internet op kunnen. In de hal van het hotel vinden de gasten ook een Corner Center, een ruimte met ADSL-internettoegang. Naast een 24 uur per dag geopende receptie met uitcheckservice, een garderobe en een lift biedt dit van airconditioning voorziene hotel zijn gasten een café, een bar, een ontbijtruimte en was- en roomservice. Fietsverhuur wordt geboden en er is een parkeerterrein voor de gasten die met de auto komen.Het hotel heeft tweepersoonskamers met uitzicht. De kamers zijn uitgerust met moderne voorzieningen, waaronder een telefoon, een televisie met lcd-scherm, een muziekzender, draadloze internettoegang en alle noodzakelijke elementen om te ontspannen, bijvoorbeeld airconditioning, verwarming, een kluisje, een minibar, ruime douches of baden, haardrogers en verschillende toiletartikelen. Fallen from grace, a has been !

Cannot be a true 4* if no room drink making facilities except minibar with 2 bottles coke and 2 of water at 2 Euros each plus 2 Euros city tax. In every 4 * I stayed before around the world, 2 bottles water a day were free ! When I asked on first evening, told go to restaurant or tea and coffee, but found closed early. Only when checking out and giving feedback told, "we can give you if you ask". So of course pointed out I did ask and different answer had been given !

Very noisy room

The room was small, noisy and lacking in comfort. The noise wasn’t coming from outside it was the pipes and fans in and around the room were so noisy we all struggled to sleep. We got a triple room but it was very small, the “double” bed was simply 2 singles pushed together and the third single bed was so flimsy & uncomfortable, only suitable for a very small child. Miserable staff at reception, breakfast was pretty much inedible and we really struggled to sleep. The only positive here was that camp nou is literally around the corner. Wouldn’t stay again.

Close to Collblanc Metro and Excellent Staff

Getting to and from the airport by metro takes about 35 minutes. It’s a direct line to Collblanc Metro Station (L9-Aeroport T1) and is air conditioned. About a 5-minute walk from Collblanc Metro Station (Blue Line-L5) and about 10 mins walk from Badal Metro Station. If you are coming from Airport to Collblanc Metro Station and you have lot of luggage, take the elevator all the way to the ground level. This exit is not the closest to the hotel but its most convenient if you are carrying luggage, because the other option involves climbing stairs with luggage. Once you come out of the elevators walk to the hotel entrance. If you are coming from airport to Collblanc Metro Station but do not have lot of luggage and do not mind climbing stairs, follow this route. As soon as you get off the metro-train at the Collblanc Metro Station, you will see two exits on the opposite sides of the station itself. Take the one that has "Camp Nou" written on it (if you are coming from Airport side, this will be on your left-hand side), take that to exit at ground level and then walk to the hotel entrance. Check-in time noon-midnight; Check-out time is noon A Tax is imposed by the city: EUR 0.99 per person, per night, up to 7 nights. There is no Electric Kettle in the room, but they can provide one if you ask at the reception. We informed them in advance via email that we will need one, and they kept one ready for us on our arrival. Room was big and spacious, so was bathroom. Cleaning was also adequate. Room had a chair with writing-desk, a single-seater sofa, cupboard to store your stuff. One minor complain: the shower-head was not even detachable. There was a small fridge. A quick grab and go breakfast for just €4 is available in the lobby. They can also provide a veggie “express” breakfast, it includes a coffee or tea, a croissant, a juice, and a small cheese sandwich. There is a supermarket named Supermarket Charter-Consum at 200m walk which we used for our daily supplies like Bottled water, milk etc. There is also a Carrefour supermarket about 800m away (close to Badal Metro Station) but we did not check it out. Located just a few steps from the Nou Camp, Barcelona Football Club Stadium. Many restaurants and cafes nearby including a mcdonalds Staff is very helpful, everyone spoke English and the Muslim guy in the restaurant opposite reception was extremely nice. Being Muslim, he completely understood what we, Vegetarian Indians, wanted and obliged, and all with a smile. I am sorry I forgot his name, it was Syed or Salim or something similar. For vegetarian fare, there is a Mamma Italia restaurant which is open Sun - Sat: 7:30 PM - 12:00 AM; Fri - Sun: 12:30 PM - 4:00 PM. Vegetarian friendly. Popular dishes include Pizza Nutella and Tiramisu. There is another Indian restaurant Pak Tandoori Restaurante; it's somewhere close to Hotel Madanis, but we could not find it. For Churros, there is a lovely place run by local people Churreria Chocolateria, delicious churros and hot chocolate, very friendly staff. They serve two kinds of churros and the hot chocolate is thick, delicious and creamy! Tip: sprinkle some sugar over the churros and they will taste better!
