Het elegante luxehotel ligt centraal in het hartje van Barcelona, op slechts enkele miunte van de Gran Via. Talrijke winkel- en amusementsmogelijkheden zijn gemakkelijk met het openbaar vervoer of te voet te bereiken.Het moderne hotel werd in het jaar 2003 gebouwd en beschikt over 71 kamers verdeeld over 6 etages. Hiervan zijn 69 tweepersoonskamers en 2 suites. Het hotel biedt zijn gasten een gezellige ontvangsthal met liften, hotelkluisjes en een 24 uur per dag geopende receptie. Bovendien beschikt het hotel over een tv-ruimte, café, een gezellige bar, een pub en een van airconditioning voorzien à la carte restaurant met afgescheiden niet-rokergedeelte. Zakelijke gasten kunnen onder andere gebruik maken van de conferentieruimte en de openbare internettoegang. Its OK but pricey for what you are getting!

Booked this hotel for 2nights to explore Barcelona and would say that the £150 p/night does not justify it as a 4 star hotel. Appearance and photos of the hotel does make it look pleasing but in reality its a mixed bag. On arrival the reception staff are pleasant and checkin was straight forward. The room is OK, a good size for the two of us and our view was at the back of the hotel that faced the surrounding buildings in an enclosure, not the best but it was OK. The beds were average, not the most comfortable but doable for the 2 nights. I would say that the best part of staying here is the location as you are pretty much central and everything is easy to get to, either by walking, buses or the Metro. Breakfast is a good selection of cold and hot food with the chef on hand to make you an omelets or crepes, very nice. Would I stay here again?...Probably not as I would look out for other hotels in the same area at a better price as £150 is a lot of money for a night!

A great stay

My daughter and I stayed here for a three night holiday. The hotel really is in an excellent location with most attractions a 10-15 minute walk away. The staff were especially accommodating and really made our stay special. Special mention to Moises who really helped us make the most of our stay. We stayed on the 7th floor and the room was very spacious. Our balcony was to the front of the building and we were not afflicted by any loud noises from the traffic outside. The beds were very comfortable and clean. We had to request a kettle and the card for the iron which we received promptly. The second vanity space outside of the bathroom proved useful. The minor downside was not being able to change the language setting on the tv. And one of the lifts really was a little rickety. Breakfast was plentiful with both hot and cold food although the hot foods were really lukewarm as was the water for the tea. Best assests of this hotel was the location and the very accommodating staff. Choosing this hotel was perfect for us and would be our choice again if we were to return to Barcelona.

Good for business hotel centrally located

Atrium Palace is a good choice for a business stay. It is centrally located with spacious rooms, dull design and good breakfast. It is also fairly priced, so I fully recommend it for a business stay. If you are looking for romance, look elsewhere.
