Dit hotel bevindt zich in het toeristische centrum van Lissabon, op slechts enkele minuten van het stadscentrum met veel winkels en amusementsmogelijkheden, boetieks, cafetaria's, bars en restaurants. In de onmiddellijke omgeving vindt u de dierentuin van Lissabon. Het dichtstbijzijnde openbaar vervoer is ongeveer 2 minuten lopen van het hotel verwijderd. Naar het metrostation Palhava is het slechts 300 meter; hiervandaan is het ongeveer 10 minuten rijden naar het centrum. De transfer naar de luchthaven duurt ongeveer 10 minuten.Het in 2002 gerenoveerde stadhotel beschikt op 14 etages over in totaal 211 kamers. Handy, basic hotel

I stayed here with my husband and 12 year old daughter for two nights in March. We previously stayed at the Corinthia a few blocks away but it was too expensive this time. We had a room on the 9th floor. Check in was smooth and reception staff were welcoming. The room obviously was very small especially with the third bed for the daughter, but it’s fine if you don’t intend to spend much time in it. It was clean and functional. No safe or fridge or kettle. Bed was firm but comfortable and our request for extra pillows was fulfilled immediately. Breakfast is a simple continental affair. The hotel is situated near the zoo close to metro stops so is easy to access from the airport or train station and a few stops away from the old town. A day metro ticket is about €6 and that will take you to/from the airport. Plenty of shops bars and restaurants close by. Our room was quiet apart from the planes going overhead which stop at night. We found our room to be too hot, but maybe that’s because we’re British! Overall a good stay, thank you.

Good city hotel

We stayed here for a couple of nights during our short citybreak in Lisbon. Located a bit outside city center part; the area of the hotels houses more hotels, appartments but also a nice park/green area and also several restaurants. So that is not too bad, because trains and subway also are closeby. Metro is about 350m away. Had a room on second floor at the front side of the hotel. No noise from the road and very little of the planes coming over towards airport. A little noise, but nothing too bad, of rooms and doors closeby . Room was of a decent size. Bathroom was of good size. All kept clean well. Beds were comfortable after all the walking in the lovely city of Lisbon. Breakfast was good also, stillenough to choose from. Nice start of the day. Staff friendly and helpfull. Also good that the bar was open late so we could have a drink before getting to the room.

Comfortable, clean and convenient

This hotel is very, very clean. The rooms are comfortable. This one had a lot more closet and shelving space for our clothes than other Ibis hotels we have stayed at, which was appreciated. The beds are comfy and the room is quiet. We only occasionally heard noise from people above or beside us. The weather was quite warm in Lisbon in mid-October (20 to 22 celsius) so we were happy that we were able to control the air temperature and make it cool for sleeping. The hotel is about a five-minute walk to two subway stops. The subway is totally affordable and reliable. Including the walk to the subway, you can be pretty much anywhere in Lisbon in under 30 minutes. We stayed here for five nights. Went to Porto for a few days and then stayed here again for our last night before flying home. We ate the breakfast once. We were prepared for what was on offer as it's geared to the local region so if you are used to a "north american" breakfast of hot food that's high in protein (e.g., omelettes, bacon) this is not the breakfast for you. But many people seemed to enjoy it. The hotel team is very nice and helfpful. Overall, this is a safe, clean and comfortable hotel with very good rates.
