Het hotel is gelegen aan de A4, tegenover luchthaven Schiphol. Per auto is het vliegveld daarmee in slechts zeven minuten te bereiken. Vele bezienswaardige steden als Zaanstad, Haarlem en Leiden zijn gemakkelijk te bezoeken. Ook voor de zakenreizigers is het Best Western Amsterdam Airport uitermate geschikt. Niet alleen zijn luchthaven Schiphol en de zakencentra van Amsterdam door de nabijheid van de A4 erg goed bereikbaar, ook heeft het hotel een groot vergadercentrum. DO NOT PAY FOR THIS HOTEL! Very disappointing service. Upon arrival we had to pay £150 deposit which they hold onto until you check out incase anything breaks in your room which I think is absolutely unacceptable as you are not advised of this prior to your stay, so you could be bringing spending money and not even be able to use it as the hotel keeps hold of it, I think this is an unacceptable amount to ask for. If you pay the deposit with card, you get it back within three working days!! When you think that’s all… no. They then charge you £18 next and say that’s for tax of the room. So in total we paid £168 and we hadn’t even stepped foot in our room. I think this is completely unfair and the hotel should advise they will be taking such a large amount of money so visitors can ensure they bring enough for the actual stay. The menus have very few options to pick from for lunch and supper so I would advise eating in the city! The gym is extremely small and can only be used from 9am - 10pm which is very little time to be able to use it, especially if you wish to go use it early to enable you to have a whole day in the city! Would not recommend this hotel!!!

When you arrive late at the airport it doesn’t really matter where you sleep, at least usually. This is the perfect exception, old building and not so close to airport, mediocre breakfast, cleanliness questionable. But what was disappointed has been the behave of the personnel during check-out, they didn’t give me any receipt suggesting to ask to the travel agency leaving me at the desk alone. It is the first time in my life that a hotel doesn’t issue a sort of invoice. And I saw several structures....

Stayed 5 nights. Had an early flight and booked because of the airport shuttle only to learn it starts at 6 am and we had to book a taxi anyway. No luggage scale at an airport hotel?! Staff wasn’t friendly but wasn’t rude, more like indifferent. (Maybe cultural?) Phoned from my room about laundry service cost, didn’t know the prices and unwilling to find out. Told me to come down and fill the form so I could see for myself. Someone spilled a sugary drink in the elevator that made the floor sticky, it took them 2 days to clean it. Actual room was nice and cozy, a bit dark due to non-ceiling lighting. Bed was super comfy. Bathroom was nice also.
