Het eiland Lopud ligt op 9 zeemijlen van Dubrovnik, 30 minuten met de boot van de stad Dubrovnik (er gaan regelmatig openbare veerboten) en 45 minuten van de internationale luchthaven van Dubrovnik.Dit gezinsvriendelijke hotel wordt omgeven door de zee en palmbomen. Het ligt op een terrein van 12.000 vierkante meter vol privéparken. Het is de perfecte plek voor gasten om zich te ontspannen in een exclusieve locatie. Het eiland Lopud (met een oppervlakte van 4,63 vierkante kilometer) is volledig autovrij en is het mooiste eiland van de Elafiti-archipel. Dit van airconditioning voorziene clubresort dat in 2011 is gerenoveerd biedt 182 kamers en verwelkomt zijn gasten in een 24 uur per dag geopende receptie en uitcheckservice, een hotelkluis, een wisselkantoor en een lift naar de bovenverdiepingen. Tot de verdere faciliteiten behoren een speelkamer, een kinderspeelplaats, een kinderclub en een bar. De gasten kunnen ook gebruik maken van de conferentiefaciliteiten, de internettoegang, was- en roomservice, de parkeergelegenheid en fietsverhuur.Het resort beschikt over moderne kamers in een categorieën Klassiek, Junior Suite, Master en Imperial Suite. Alle kamers hebben uitzicht op zee en een eigen balkon uitgerust met moderne meubels en ultramoderne technologie. The most beautiful hotel and wonderful staff .

Gary and I have just come back from this beautiful hotel. And a most wonderful holiday here and on the gorgeous Island Lopud. This holiday was to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary and the staff made sure this was was indeed a very special occasion for us. Everyone who worked in the hotel could not do enough for us. There were lots of lovely surprises. And we were made to feel so special. We want to thank so much everyone who helped make this a very very special holiday. Our room was beautiful, so spotless and clean. The food in both the breakfast dining room and the Dalmatian restaurant in the evening was superb. The hotel itself has so many wondrous areas to walk inside and outside to sit and just chill and relax and a lovely sunbathing area near the sea. The views are just amazing. The Spa we visited was so lovely and a peaceful place to be. We can not say enough positive happy things about this hotel , staff and Island. If I cajole give 10 stars ⭐️ plus I would. Thank you everyone who made this special. I will be writing to you all, as I said I would very soon. We miss you and will be back next year. With so much love and thanks to you all . ♥️

Not a luxury hotel - do not stay here.

We have just returned from Croatia where we stayed in 3 places, Lafodia hotel being one of them. We picked this as it is described as a ‘luxury’ hotel - it is far from it. Upon arrival, we found the hotel to be dirty and not well maintained. There are marks on the walls and our shower was full of mould. Along with the mould, the shower was falling off the wall and it had not been cleaned. After travelling we asked reception for an iron. We were told that there wasn’t a single iron in the building and if you wished to pay a fee you could use their laundry service which ships your clothes to Dubrovnik! How can an iron not be accessible for people who have travelled with their clothes in cases?! We understand that this is not peak season but the lack of amenities is terrible. The indoor pool heater is broken so the pool is cold, the sauna is broken and the hot tubs are not filled. On a rainy day, the only food available was from the main restaurant as everywhere else was closed. Upon check out, the receptionist asked how our stay was, and I replied ‘it wasn’t great’. He simply could not care less, did not ask any questions to find out more. I have emailed my concerns to the hotel and have received no response which shows they do not take feedback seriously. I would really recommend the island of Lopud, it is beautiful, but please do not stay in this hotel. There are many villas and Airbnb locations available that would be far nicer than here.

Good but could be amazing

This is a good hotel but I think many of the negative reviews are driven by the frustration that the hotel has all the ingredients to be amazing. The rooms are lovely and everywhere is exceptionally clean. You’re made to feel very special on the private boat transfer to the beautiful island of Lopud, arriving at the impressive entrance to the hotel. The hotel beach is very good with the sea being crystal clear and there are plenty of loungers to choose from. Breakfast is as you would expect for a 4 star hotel - you would have to be very fussy to not find something to eat, yes the toaster takes ages but it’s not a big thing. If the hotel is reading this then I think there are a few easy things that could elevate the hotel: i) There’s no information in the room - it’s impossible to determine what’s open in the hotel and when, is there room service available for example - after 5 days there I’m still unsure ii) The bar is a really good space but not well used because I just don’t think people realise it’s there iii) The service is variable with some experiences being great (check in) but others really lacking (no pool boy to help with towels, even when there are lots of people on the beach; beach bar not open with no obvious explanation - people were going to the local shop to get drinks - a lost revenue opportunity if nothing else! Check out was awful - there are a lot of steps at the hotel and there was no help getting the luggage down to the boat. When I asked if the boat I could see was our transfer I just got a shrug. I say the above from the place that I started, this is a good hotel and I would go back but with some tweaks it could be brilliant.
