Ideal location. 5 minutes walk from water bus drop off. Surprised the hotel doesn't have an iron for travellers. I also wouldn't pay €8 for the breakfast. There's nice cheap eateries within the streets. Around good experience

I couldn't complain about anything at this hotel. Room was very nice and clean, and had the same look as in the picture, with a window pointing to one of the small canals. The staff is very helpful, friendly and they speak good English and Spanish, possibly other languages too. The locations is only a few steps from San Marco square. Breakfast was good and cheap relative to city prices (we didn't have it included, but got it for a small fee). We definitely recommend this place.

Overpriced - AC not working

Booked 2 rooms for a family of 4 people. My parents stayed in the room next to us and the AC in their room was not working. Similar problem had another group of friends staying in different room. Venice reaches 35-40 degrees celsius in Summer which is very hot and cannot cope without the AC. The stuff were polite, but not very helpful. Also there was a problem with the shower which was constantly changing from hot to cold. We paid in total €320 for a single night and I feel having problems with the AC is unacceptable for that amount of price.
