Dit charmante hotel is ideaal voor gezinnen en is gevestigd in Agios Georgios. De belangrijkste uitgaansgebieden zijn gemakkelijk bereikbaar vanuit de accommodatie. De bezoekers beschikken binnen een straal van 100 meter over uitstekende vervoersverbindingen die hen in staat stellen de omgeving te verkennen. De accommodatie ligt op 100 meter van het dichtstbijzijnde strand. De klanten verblijven op 25. 0 kilometer van de luchthaven. Blue Sea - Argyrades Beach herbergt in totaal 40 slaapkamers. Blue Sea - Argyrades Beach werd volledig gerenoveerd in 2014. Er is overal in het hotel wifi. De receptie van deze accommodatie is 24 uur per dag geopend voor het gemak van de gasten. Helaas zijn er geen accommodatie-eenheden waar klanten om een kinderbedje voor de allerkleinsten kunnen vragen. Blue Sea - Argyrades Beach begrijpt dat toegankelijkheid voor alle gasten belangrijk is. Daarom beschikt het over rolstoeltoegankelijke accommodatie-eenheden en is het volledig aangepast om gemakkelijke toegang te garanderen. De parkeerruimte kan handig zijn voor wie met de auto aankomt. Daarenboven heeft Blue Sea - Argyrades Beach milieuvriendelijke maatregelen getroffen om de impact op het milieu te minimaliseren en is het in het bezit van een certificering. De reizigers zullen verrukt zijn van de maaltijden die worden geserveerd in het hotel. Wie in deze accommodatie verblijft, kan weer op krachten komen met een overheerlijk gerecht in Blue Sea - Argyrades Beach. Having booked before reading some reviews (as you do after a drink or 5!) I was more than a little concerned to read some of the negative reviews here. That said, after a wonderful week here I must say we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We were not impressed with the view from our room, basically an abandoned pool complex full of the noisiest frogs(!) that said, looking above this you can see the coast road and indeed the sea, on raising the “frog issue” with Claire she said she’d organise getting the pool drained to eradicate the frogs, given this pool is not on her property and effectively not her problem to resolve, I thought her response telling as to her attitude to an issue once she was made aware of it. The rooms are a little basic, we were in the older part of the hotel, apparently the rooms in the other part are better - and I’m guessing those pictured on here - I would advise you take a multi plug extension lead and travel plug adapter as sockets are limited. It is however perfectly fine as a place to sleep and a base for exploring the island as we did. Breakfast was plentiful, the hotel was clean and the staff - Claire the manager and Tina on reception - both couldn’t do enough to help, Claire is English which is great from a communication perspective and something she should promote more widely as an attraction for us non linguistic Brits(!) Tina a language teacher by trade with superb English as you’d perhaps expect, both friendly and knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble. If your looking for a 5* experience you will most certainly be disappointed that said Claire does not pretend the hotel is anything other than what it is, very fairly priced and offering more than what you’d reasonably expect for a 2* hotel especially in Greece. Local amenities are within walking distance , plenty of bars and restaurants in the vicinity. I would recommend a hire car as your missing so much of Corfu by just sitting by the pool all day, that said, if relaxing by the pool and getting a tan in a sheltered area is your thing then the Blue Sea Hotel will give you this. For the price, I think it represents great value, friendly helpful staff and numerous guests that are staying repeatedly which I think tells you a lot, we’re it really the “Faulty Towers” some think it was not many would return. We’d be more than happy to go back and recommend it highly to anyone with a reasonable expectation of what to expect. Again, our highest praise to Claire, Tina and the staff, thank you. Incidentally, if you want the 5* experience then I’d recommend Aghios Gordios’s “La Grotta Verde” but do bear in mind it’ll cost you more than 3 times the price which I think some people expecting the 5* experience conveniently choose to ignore!!! Well after some reviews I was pleasantly surprised it was lovely clean hotel. And a lovely greeting from clare who is the manager she can't do enough for you ,Tina reception was amazing , my room was just perfect clean .met some lovely people and hoping to return in September. Thank you clare and all staff making my holiday memorable x

Could be so much better

I have a bit of a review, it won’t sit well with some - my sister inlaw booked a secret holiday for me as a birthday present, she booked Blue sea hotel! We arrived at the hotel on Thursday and we left on Friday. Another hotel was booked. once we got back from the Corfu town packed up and left :- reasons ….. nothing like the pics online! The room- we walked in and got a big shock, dark and not very inviting- The bathroom- window up high next to vent shaft was open,the smell from there was something else. We investigated and looked in the window and was greeted with, dirty used tissues- rolls of unused paper shower gel bottles ect- we did tell owner and it was cleaned by the time we were back but the damage was done. We were leaving. Food- breakfast was, well something else….. nothing had flavour- squared omelettes- tasteless rubber- pasta, grilled tomatoes salad, and some cereal but was not great. Some yogurt and jam ect. could have been so much better. Staff were friendly enough but the grounds are not kept clean dogs roaming and the poo left on paths not cleaned. The bar looked nice and the pool looked clean but didn’t use those facilities. But the dogs howled all night and only stopped once the started the morning call. It is a family ran hotel, and with a few changes could be a fantastic hotel. I know it’s the start of the season and as the season kicks in funds may be available to do a bit of revamp but we were not happy, Wasn’t all doom and gloom, but a few changes would make a difference.
