The country of Turkey offers a distinctively eastern feel with a Mediterranean twist, making it the perfect destination for you and your guests to celebrate your special day. With its iconic beaches and spectacular pine-clad landscapes combined with its history and friendly locals, you’ve got the perfect ingredients to ensure that you have a wedding day that is absolutely unforgettable.
Turkey boasts a stunning coastline, dotted with excellent beaches, picturesque resorts, ancient sites and modern hotels, meaning you’re sure to find the perfect venue to make your wedding vows, especially along the Aegean, Mediterranean and Lycian coasts.
There is no minimum residency requirement for Turkey; however, we recommend you arrive around six days before your ceremony in order to process all your documentation and stay for a total of 14 nights. For hotel-based weddings, you must be staying at that hotel prior to the ceremony and for Blue Lagoon ceremonies you can choose stay in any one of our Ӧlü Deniz, Fethiye or Hisarönü resorts. You must both have a blood test prior to your wedding taking place, which is payable locally. Unfortunately it is not possible to confirm your exact wedding date and time before you travel and it can only be confirmed once you are in resort. However, we do send your three preferred dates to the resort in advance.
Turkey is fast becoming one of the most romantic destinations in the Mediterranean, thanks to its perfect blend of incredible beaches, mind-blowing scenery and charming culture with its traditional souks and bazaars. The Blue Lagoon makes for an idyllic wedding venue and you can even choose to follow the ceremony with a beach barbecue if you would like.
