Make everlasting memories in this land of fiestas.
Anyone who visits Mexico can expect to experience the perfect blend of relaxation, culture and adventure, so there’ll be plenty for all to do in the lead up to the big day as well as your holiday afterwards. The Yucatan Peninsula separates Mexico from the island of Cuba and is affectionately known as the Mexican Caribbean, so you know that when you arrive here you will get a taste of paradise.
The best time to travel to Mexico is between the months of November and April when there will be less rainfall. Spring breaks falls between mid-February and mid-April, and summer break falls between mid-May and mid-July, so you can expect the resorts to be a lot busier around these times.
All your documentation must be handed over to Mexican authorities at least three working days before your wedding ceremony, so we suggest that you allow five days so that everything runs smoothly.
The wedding couple are each required to take a blood test in resort before the ceremony, which is at an extra cost and payable locally. Divorced women must wait a period of 12 months before they can re-marry, whereas divorced men can re-marry straight away.
Hotels in Mexico are used to accommodating for larger wedding parties who are looking forward to celebrating a wedding in style. So you will find that many hotels have specially designed gazebos located around the grounds. You will never be far from a beautiful beach, whichever hotel you choose. And your wedding dinner is likely to take place in one of the hotel’s all inclusive restaurants with reserved seating.
