No, thank you

Picture the sun beaming down on white-washed chapels in peaceful, picturesque Greek villages, surrounded by wonderful coastlines, lush olive trees, golden beaches and sparkling blue seas. Now picture yourself walking down the aisle here. It’ll be like a scene from Mama Mia, just without Pierce Brosnan warbling at you as you go.

There are so many choices of wedding venues for you to decide between. Choose whatever’s right for you, whether that be a traditional church, an architectural masterpiece, a rustic restaurant, an ornate town hall, a winery or some beautiful gardens.

We have a number of finishing touches that you can add to your wedding arrangements to make them all the more memorable. In Greece you can choose anything from a photographer, wedding cake or champagne to a horse and carriage ride to make your day truly unforgettable.

Best time to go

The heat in the height of summer can often be stiflingly hot, which isn’t ideal with your wedding dress, hair and make-up. With this in mind, early or late summer is the best time to plan to celebrate your big day.

Essential information

There is a minimum residency requirement of eight days for Zante, Skiathos, Crete and Rhodes and seven days for Santorini and Kos. If you are getting married at a hotel, then you must be a resident at that particular hotel. If you are getting married at a venue that isn’t a hotel, then you can choose to stay at any hotel that we feature within the resort. Some hotels require you to hold the reception at the hotel after the ceremony and in most Rhodes hotels you will be required to pay a ceremony venue fee.

Insider knowledge

Greece is an incredibly popular choice for people wanting to get married abroad, so make sure you set your plans in stone as early as you possibly can. With minimum residency requirements being between seven and eight days, we recommend that you book a 14 night holiday to make sure that you have plenty of time for your honeymoon too.
