Greece is a country full of breath-taking beaches, spectacular ancient ruins, traditional tavernas and vibrant resorts. The climate is perfect at any time of year, with winter months still being a pleasant enough temperature to be outdoors. There are so many great Greek islands that form part of this idyllic Mediterranean getaway, you’ll be sure to find an island with the character and atmosphere that’s right for you and your guests.

Picture the sun beaming down on white-washed chapels in peaceful, picturesque Greek villages, surrounded by wonderful coastlines, lush olive trees, golden beaches and sparkling blue seas. Now picture yourself walking down the aisle here. It’ll be like a scene from Mama Mia, just without Pierce Brosnan warbling at you as you go.
The heat in the height of summer can often be stiflingly hot, which isn’t ideal with your wedding dress, hair and make-up. With this in mind, early or late summer is the best time to plan to celebrate your big day.
There is a minimum residency requirement of eight days for Zante, Skiathos, Crete and Rhodes and seven days for Santorini and Kos. If you are getting married at a hotel, then you must be a resident at that particular hotel. If you are getting married at a venue that isn’t a hotel, then you can choose to stay at any hotel that we feature within the resort. Some hotels require you to hold the reception at the hotel after the ceremony and in most Rhodes hotels you will be required to pay a ceremony venue fee.
Greece is an incredibly popular choice for people wanting to get married abroad, so make sure you set your plans in stone as early as you possibly can. With minimum residency requirements being between seven and eight days, we recommend that you book a 14 night holiday to make sure that you have plenty of time for your honeymoon too.
