Set yourself apart from all the summer weddings back home and escape to get wed during our British winter. The winter months in the Caribbean mean little rain, more hours of sunshine and less risk of hurricanes.
Antigua and Barbados have no minimum residency requirements prior to your wedding ceremony; whereas Jamaica has a 48 hour requirement (excluding Sundays and arrival days) and Saint Lucia is three working days. However, we suggest that you arrive at three to four days in advance to allow yourself time to settle in, check final arrangements and relax before your big day.
A Caribbean wedding is the perfect blend of sun, sea, sand and simplicity, which will leave you with memories that you’ll treasure forever. The whole affair is laid back, with minimal residency requirements and paperwork. The majority of resorts are all inclusive as well, which makes for easy budgeting and no additional costs for your basic wedding breakfast in the hotel restaurant.
