Events in Texas

Music and culture Austin is famous for its festivals: South by Southwest (SXSW) is an extravaganza of film and music held every March. There’s also Austin City Limits Festival (October) and Fiesta San Antonio (April).

Tuck in Those with gourmet tastes should make a beeline for Culinaria, a wine and culinary arts festival in San Antonio (May) or the Savor Dallas food festival (both in March), and the Austin Food and Wine Festival in April.

State Fair From late September to mid-October, Fair Park in Dallas is taken over by the lively Texas State Fair.
