Cool off in Miami’s Venetian Pool

If you want a day away from the sandy shores of the beach but still want to cool off with a refreshing dip, take a trip to Coral Gables quarter for the stunning Venetian Pool. The pool can be found in Miami’s original neighbourhood, Coconut Grove, founded in 1873. Visitors can enjoy the 820,000 gallon pool that was originally created in 1923 from a coral rock quarry.

The large multi pooled complex has rustic Italian style buildings, Venice inspired bridges and lavish 1920s décor. Swim in the glamorous environment that in the past has played host to famous Hollywood stars. Relax by the cascading waterfalls or bask in the sunshine on the several verandas decorated with lush vines and greenery.
