Stratosphere Tower

For the best panoramic views across Las Vegas, make sure you take a trip up the Stratosphere
Tower. As the tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States, the view from the top will leave you speechless.

Found at the northern end of the Strip, the Stratosphere Tower stands at 350 metres tall. It has a hotel and casino as well as an observation deck, making it one of Las Vegas’ most popular
attractions. There’s a fee to go up the tower, unless you’re staying in the hotel when it’s free.

After taking the lift up to the observation deck, pause for a moment to take in the
spectacular views. Whether you stick to the indoor deck or venture upstairs to the outdoor deck, try to spot your hotel or favourite landmark as you gaze out over the city.

If you love adrenaline-pumping thrills, there are four incredible rides at the top of the tower. You’ll have to be brave to test your nerve on Big Shot, Insanity, X Scream and SkyJump Las Vegas.

If you want to do some shopping while you’re at the tower, there’s a mall on the second level where you can also grab a bite to eat. If you want to really eat in style though, book a table at the Top of the World restaurant, which has a revolving floor. The Stratosphere Tower is open from 10am to 2am at the weekends, so you can stick around for a few drinks in the Level 107 Lounge after your meal.

After a breathless morning at the Stratosphere Tower, spend the rest of your day exploring the scenery of Mount Charleston and the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Or stay up the Stratosphere Tower and wait for the epic sunset.
