Fun fact: Did you know Cirque du Soleil’s logo was crafted back in 1984, by Josée Bélanger? The logo depicts a tarot card of the sun which is said to symbolise both youth and energy. When it came to naming the troupe, Guy Laliberté (the founder) felt that the translation ‘Circus of the Sun’ depicted the vibrancy and vitality of his acrobats perfectly.
