NO Coffee In the Room!

Beautiful resort especially if money is no object. NO coffee in the room Housekeeping on demand, which is how it should be in my opinion, however getting fresh towels wasn’t a simple task. The pools are beautiful but the No Smoking policy isn’t unforced at all. I would have been really upset if my kids were along. I ate one meal in one of the restaurants and $50 later I would have rather been at home eating leftovers. I had a pizza delivered after that.

I recently spent 4 nights at the Diplomat. The stay was amazing as usual. It is a top class resort. This was not my first time there, but this time was the best because I discovered Core Fitness gym across the sky bridge. I had been weary about going to the gym since before Covid, but Core Fitness was beyond amazing. It felt like my own personal gym. It was clean, the equipment was plentiful, and I even took a fitness class. It was hard but the trainers never made me feel out of shape. They were patient and really spent extra one on one time with me. After eating great hotel and bar good at the Diplomat for 4 days, it was just what I needed. I even signed up for personal training sessions with the owner. I highly recommend both the resort and the gym!

Worst value for money

For $700 the night I expected some service. First thing we encounter was our room not fixed. The answer the hotel policy is that you have to ask for it 24 hours before. We tried to go to the beach, the security guard didn’t allow us cause we didn’t have the wrist bracelet. Nobody told us about it. We missed the time to go for dinner so we asked for room service, but no. The un don’t do room service. I really advise not to book this hotel.
