Aqua Fantasy Aquapark in Izmir

Perched on the edge of the Aegean Sea, near Kusadasi, you'll find the fun-filled Aqua Fantasy Aquapark. This is one of the most popular waterparks anywhere in Turkey, and it's brimming with adventures and rides from kids and grown-ups alike.

You can expect towers that look like medieval castles, speedy slides, and a huge wave pool. Little ones will love splashing around in the children's pool, with its very own pirate ship and submarine. If you'd rather take things slow and relaxed, just grab a ring and head down the lazy river that runs around the park.

When it comes to rides, slides, and wet 'n' wild adventures, you'll be spoiled for choice here. Turkey's Aqua Fantasy Aquapark is jam-packed with activities for all ages, including 31 slides, ranging from the tame to white-knuckle thrillers. There's more than enough to keep the kids entertained for hours on end.

The Master Blaster is a raft-slide for the whole family. For younger water babies, there are loads of gentle enclosed slides, and the biggest kid-friendly pool in Turkey.

You'll also find the Treasure Island zone, featuring a pirate ship with six slides and lots of toys to play with.

Fancy picking up the pace? Older children and groups of friends can make a beeline for the Boomerang, head for the Speed Slides, or take on the Proracer. There's also a wave pool, which creates seven different kinds of wave, plus that wonderfully chilled-out, lazy river when you're ready to relax.

Aqua Fantasy Aquapark also has adult-only areas, where you can get some well-deserved peace and quiet. There's a pool exclusively for grown-ups, plus a whirlpool that's the perfect spot to take it easy.

Where is Aqua Fantasy park?

Aqua Fantasy Aquapark is located within easy reach of Kusadasi, which is halfway down the west coast of Turkey. If you're staying in the resort of Kusadasi, the waterpark is only around 9km away. It's a 15-minute taxi ride, so you won't be far from the fun. The waterpark is actually part of a resort, with its own hotel and spa.

If you know your kids can't get enough of slides and swimming pools, this could just be the perfect place to stay. That way, everything you need will be right on your doorstep for the duration of your holiday.

Where to eat and drink

With so much fun to be had, you're guaranteed to work up an appetite. Luckily for you, there's a fantastic range of places to eat and drink around Turkey's Aqua Fantasy Aquapark. Ephesus Beach Café serves up snacks all day, while Castle Burger is the place to go for a slap-up fast food feast, including tasty burgers. Parrots' Pizza serves up real Italian fare, while the barbecue's always on over at the Captain's Grill. You'll also find places serving up traditional Turkish pitta, and a selection of ice cream stands, too.

There are all kinds of other activities going on within the Aqua Fantasy Aquapark complex. These include a range of outdoor sports, such as waterpolo, football, beach volleyball, tennis and archery, as well as a selection of indoor games, like bowling, snooker, darts, and table tennis.

Children aged between 4 and 12 can join the mini club, where they can take part in a brilliant range of games and activities.

If you like to stay active on holiday you'll love the fitness centre. It features a well-equipped gym, as well as yoga, Pilates and Zumba classes.

Or, if you'd prefer to have some time to yourself and relax, why not check into the spa? Treat yourself to a massage, a Turkish bath, or a facial treatment. When the sun goes down, you'll find loads of shows and performances taking place in the amphitheatre.

Turkey's Aqua Fantasy Aquapark is only a four-minute walk from Pamucak Beach. So, if you're staying within the resort, you and the kids will be a stone's throw away from the pretty sandy shores and turquoise waters.

This beach is also a hotspot for watersports. There are also plenty of cultural attractions within easy reach of the resort. Just a short hop away from the waterpark and hotel you can explore the archaeological site of Ephesus, Virgin Mary's House and Sirince Village.

A little further afield, you'll also find the magnificent ruined Temple of Artemis, around 12km away, and the Çetin Model Village is only 6km from here.
