Hisaronu is in the Dalaman area of Turkey and has become a popular holiday destination due to the huge variety of things to see and do. You can sunbathe at the beautiful Blue Lagoon or, if you’re feeling adventurous, go paragliding and take in all of the spectacular Turkish scenery in one go. If you’re feeling peckish, pay a visit to the underground ovens in Kayakoy, tuck into some delicious Lamb Tandor and even try your hand at preparing your own food for a real experience of Turkish living.
Fun for everyone
To experience all the fun of the fair, visit Hisaronu’s LunaPark where you can bounce around on the trampolines or take a ride on the pirate ship. If you have children with an adventurous nature, a go-kart track is just a short distance away. It has a lovely bar so parents can enjoy a drink and keep an eye on their little ones as they whizz around the course.
Hisaronu itself has no beaches due to it being located on a hillside, but the breath taking Blue Lagoon in Ölü Deniz is only a short distance away and is a perfect spot for a relaxing day spent topping up your tan. You’ll be able to chill out on a sunbed or if you’re feeling more energetic, you could go parasailing and see the beautiful landscape from a birds-eye-view.
If you love nothing more than spending an afternoon shopping for souvenirs, there are plenty of opportunities for some retail therapy in and around Hisaronu. The Monday market is a great place to put your haggling skills to the test or you can take a short drive to the nearby town of Fethiye to wander through the cobbled streets.
