Bodrum – Weather
Located along the south-west coast of Turkey, Bodrum enjoys a hot climate with long, warm summers and mild winters. Temperatures peak in the summer, which has highs of 34°C in July and August. If you love spending time on the beach, it’s the perfect time to visit. Bodrum weather is often very sunny and you’re guaranteed at least 12 hours of sunshine per day that rises to 14 in the peak of summer.
Winds blow in from the Aegean Sea which brings temperatures down in the summer. This is great for when you need a break from the heat and humidity but the cool winds can be quite chilly in autumn and winter.
Temperatures in Bodrum lower to 21°C in October and decrease to 16°C in November. Autumn is still a great time to visit though, especially if you prefer a milder climate with fewer crowds. There are eight hours of sunlight a day with around 79mm of rainfall in November.
Winter weather in Bodrum is mild with a daily average temperature of 13°C. There’s 108mm of rain in December and the chance of a heavy storm increases in winter. The cold and damp weather doesn’t last long though as spring arrives in March, sending temperatures soaring to the high-teens with an average high of 21°C.
