Where can I visit around Bodrum resort?

The Castle of St Peter is nice for a day out, there are a lot of steps and as it can get very hot in summer make sure you take plenty of water and sun cream with you. Bodrum itself is nice to walk around in the evening along the marina and through the markets.
Bodrum is also home to one of the ancient wonders of the world, the Mausoleum of Halikarnus. This is located in the centre of Bodrum and is clearly signposted.
Other ancient ruins around Bodrum and Gumbet are the Amphitheatre, Myndos Gate, and the Windmills.

Turgutreis has a larger market on Saturday and has the best sunset.

Ortakent has one of the best beaches, known as Camel Beach. It is sandy and has clear waters. There are many water sports which can be done in this bay such as windsurfing, and you can also ride a camel on the beach for approximately 15TL.

The main excursions from Bodrum are Ephesus and Dalyan. Although a 3-4 hour coach journey, both of these are worth the visit if you are in the south of Turkey.
