Belek – Weather
With 300 days of sunshine a year, you’re sure to find perfect sunbathing conditions no matter when you travel. Belek weather is very pleasant thanks to its position on Turkey’s southern Mediterranean coast.
Winters are mild with a few showers scattered throughout the season. The average sea temperature is around 16°C in winter before rising to 28°C in the peak of summer. The lowest temperatures in Belek are in January, with lows of 6°C and a daily average of just 11°C. Rainfall is a major concern in winter, with around 640mm of rain falling between December and February.
Things begin to dry up in April, which enjoys a warmer climate with an average temperature of 20°C. This rises to 25°C in May along with the amount of expected daily sunshine. You can look forward to 13 hours per day, which rises to 14 in June.
The weather in Belek is very warm and sunny from May to September. The temperature continues to rise each month, peaking at 34°C in July and August. The hot conditions are cooled by a welcomed sea breeze from the coastline, which controls humidity levels and brings a refreshing relief from the summer heat.
