The resort’s surrounding landscape has been shaped with sites over the centuries, and now they’re just waiting to be explored. Discover all the best things to do in Belek.

Finest golf courses

A visit to Belek’s fine golf courses is a must for every golf fanatic. The area has played host to several international golf tournaments, including the PGA European Seniors and Ladies European Tour. With a backdrop of pine forests and the snow-capped Taurus Mountains, Belek’s spectacular landscape makes it a one-of-a-kind golfing experience.

You can stay at one of the many luxury All Inclusive golf resorts in Belek, or simply travel to one of the courses to play for the day. Just make sure you book in advance, as certain tee off times can fill quickly. Of course, not every golfer wants to spend every moment on the green. There are plenty more things to do in Belek that will make sure all the family has a good time, such as a trip to the pristine beach.

Turtles nesting

The resort’s turquoise-blue water, 10 miles of sandy beach, and shady pines make it ideal for kids. You can soak up some of Turkey’s year-round sunshine and relax on one of the many sun loungers. Prefer to indulge in a little water sports action? Jump on a pedalo, try to get your balance water-skiing, or go for a snorkel to see the underwater sights.

This beautiful beach isn’t just loved by tourists and locals, but is a firm favourite with protected loggerhead and green turtles too. If you’re lucky you may see them from afar, but you’ll need to keep well away from the nesting sites.

Relaxing hammams

If relaxing on the beach is your idea of a perfect holiday, then why not turn the relaxation factor up to 11 and try a trip to a local hammam, or Turkish bath? A popular Turkish tradition since ancient times, a visit to a hammam will leave you feeling fresh and relaxed. Change into your swimwear and recline in one of the marble-tiled sauna rooms. Once you’ve sweated out your toxins, you can enjoy a body scrub and massage. It’s guaranteed to be a highlight of your holiday, and definitely should be on your list of things to do in Belek.
