The peninsula where the ruins are located is a national park, so the beauty of Phaselis will always be protected. Whilst you're there, make sure you pay a visit to the Harbour Way; along this winding path you'll get to see the decorated Roman baths that still stand today and the Agora; a large gathering place.
Once you come to the end of the path, you'll stumble upon a set of wooden stairs that lead up to a small but delightful sand stone theatre.
