Saphir Hotel & Villas is on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast, surrounded by beautiful botanical gardens. There’s three outdoor pools - one for relaxing, another boasting five waterslides and a final option for the kids to splash around in. Inside you’ll find two further pools, including a shallow one for children. If you prefer to get your feet wet in the open water, you can take advantage of the private beach area.
The whole family can enjoy the nightly entertainment shows, as well as tennis, basketball, ping pong, darts and video games during the day. There’s also organised tournaments and competitions, as well as fitness classes. The kids can make new friends in the activity playground, pick up a paintbrush or drawing crayons and dance off any excess energy at the mini disco.
The main restaurant offers buffet meals, including a late breakfast service until 11am. Between May and September you can reserve a table at one of four a la cartes for dinner, choose from Italian, Ottoman, seafood and Mexican. Two snack bars allow you to grab light bites between meals, as well as keeping you hydrated. One is located on the beach and the other is in the pool area. The lobby bar is open 24/7, with alcohol served between 10am and 2am. For a lively end to the day there’s a disco bar, open three nights per week. An unusual quirk is alongside beers and cocktails, they serve sausage bread.
Standard rooms have centrally controlled air conditioning from May to September. If you upgrade to Elite or Deluxe you’ll benefit from individually controlled air conditioning. Villa Standard Deluxes and Villa King Suites have baths, and other room types have showers. All room types have a complimentary minibar (replenished daily), as well as tea and coffee making facilities. A safe is available for an additional fee.
Saphir Hotel & Villas sits in a quiet location on the coast. If you're looking for a bigger scene, Alanya is just a 15km drive from the hotel. Don’t miss out on the chance to visit the 10th century Church of Saint Constantine, the 13th century castle or Atatürk's House and Museum, where you get to see inside an Ottoman villa. While in the area don’t miss Sapadere Canyon (60km away). Here, you can go for a 5km walk around impressive natural landscapes or go for a swim in natural pools that are surrounded by waterfalls.
