Perfect!
Wow. Me and my boyfriends first holiday away as we are only 18&19. We were nervous after reading mixed reviews but cannot believe we nearly missed out on this gorgeous resort. Upon arrival we drove through the town and dropped off at several other hotels. We were very hesitant as they were looking very run down. As we arrived at asteria, we drove through huge gates and were greeted by the friendliest staff who upon arrival, took our suitcases to our room for us. As it was dark when we got there we were only able to see what our room looked like. It was spotless! Then in the morning the sun shone through and we got to see the gorgeous hotel! The heat was perfect and we realised we had a sea view room although when we tried to book, they said there wasn’t any left! Bonus! The food was okay. We are very fussy and seemed to live off of the quesadillas on the beach filled with cheese. The pancakes at breakfast were amazing. We also tried the italian one night and the service was brilliant. We then decided to pay extra for the turkish as only one al a carte is included. Definitely recommend doing this! Highly recommend also visiting these restaurants at lunch time to avoid having to walk all the way to the main restaurant, and as I said we are very fussy so knew what we liked in those restaurants. The drinks were lovely, we lived of cocktails! However one night I ordered a vodka fanta and had to send it back as it was so so strong. Also we only found out on the last day they do strawberry daiquiris at the 24 hour bar! The mini fridge gets stocked up on the daily which is perfect, room spotless and always clean towels. We spent most of our time at the beach which was gorgeous. We hired one of the hut beds for our last day which we cannot recommend enough. Unlimited drinks and service all day, along with a meal from the turkish restaurant! The entertainment of a night was good, there is also a secret night club that opens under the windmill which isn’t advertised and is sad as no one knows about it! We didn’t do any trips or really leave the resort. However we did a night out in Bodrum which was definitely an experience. Shops are brilliant and are always open. Do great duplicate designer products. the supermarkets are also very cheap, but obviously not necessary as everything was in the hotel that we needed. Cannot recommend this place enough. Near to everything and perfect service. We will definitely be returning!

Great views and very good entertainment and food!
Me and my mom stayed here back in September and we enjoyed our holiday very much! The resort is big, very clean but also very compact with amazing views of the Gumbet bay, in a great location not far at all from Bodrum old town. The rooms are nice, spacious and the cleaners are doing a great job. The food is gorgeous, always fresh and always some sort of show cooking at the buffet, the beer is of course very nice, however the wine is just ok, not the best I’ve had in an all inclusive. The only thing I did not like very much is the tables setting in the main buffet, a lot of them are big tables for more people and at busy times you might find it odd to have someone else seated next to you, a bit like a school cantina really. The entertainment is fantastic, a lot of activities during the day and always a very good show followed by live music in the evening. We also loved the beach party, so much fun! The beach is good, nice clear water for swimming. A big shoutout to Emirhan (I think I got his name right?) for his mixology skills, he’s the best at making delicious cocktails. We will stay again at this hotel when we are back in Bodrum.
