Spain has three main climate zones. Most of the country has a Mediterranean climate, which means hot summers around 24 to 30°C and mild, wetter winters. The country’s central plateau is more extreme, with very hot, dry weather in the summer and cold temperatures in the winter. And in the north of the country the summers are cooler, and you can expect to see more clouds and rain showers.
