This attractive city hotel enjoys a privileged location in Salamanca Old Town, providing easy access to some of the most important tourist attractions in the area such as the cathedrals, Calixto and Melibea gardens, and the Convent of San Sebastian. Salamanca Airport is just a 15-minute drive from the hotel. Built around the ruins of San Polo church, this enchanting establishment offers a choice of tastefully decorated rooms featuring a classical design. They all combine elegance and luxury with modern conveniences and some of them also feature stunning views over the magnificent Cathedral. Those travelling on business will find a business centre and the cosy restaurant offers a warm atmosphere as well as a beautiful terrace where to chill after a busy day out discovering the city.

Unwelcoming receptionist/dated room/door incident- all round negative experience.

Check in was not great. The receptionist had experienced a bad event before my arrival and this reflected in her mood. Do your own research about parking before arrival and ask little questions. Beware of the automatic doors at the entrance, they closed whilst my daughter was between them. The room was ok, dated- but it was clean. Would I stay here again? Probably not. Stay here if you are looking a cheap place to rest your head

The best stay during our holiday

Absolutely wonderful. A very comfortable room, the hotel was very easy to find, particularly if approaching from the south of the city and it was excellently located being close to the Cathedral and the Lis Museum in particular. Great parking (free if you keep an eye out), a wonderful restaurant with one of the best burgers I can recall eating and a lovely breakfast. It was also really attractively priced. We found little to fault it. Go for the 4th (top) floor for stunning views of the cathedral (Photos attached) – Rooms 401/402/403 or alternatively, a number 404 which contains a lovely suite with balcony.

Pleasant, Well-Located Hotel

We stayed for 2 nights during a Riviera Tour based in Salamanca and Madrid. The hotel is reasonably well situated approximately 10 minutes stroll from Plaza Mayor and 5 from the Cathedrals. Although close to a busy road, we did not find there was any intrusive traffic noise. The room was clean and had a refrigerator in which you could place drinks but was without tea-making facilities. Breakfast was alright although the bread did not seem freshly baked while the orange or pineapple juice was available on a self-serve, straight from a carton basis. Nevertheless, it was all edible while the lady overseeing it all was friendly and patient with predominantly non-Spanish speakers given she did not appear to speak English.
