Hotel Best Cap Salou is a family-friendly hotel in Cap Salou, a relaxed holiday resort in Costa Dorada on the north eastern coast of mainland Spain. The hotel overlooks Cap Salou beach, a sandy stretch bordered by the Mediterranean Sea. The resort is known for its little sandy coves, with shallow waters that are popular with families and couples looking to enjoy some quiet. The hotel is a short drive from Levante Beach in neighbouring Salou, considered one of the best beaches in the area. Hotel Best Cap Salou has an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by a sun terrace and Mediterranean greenery. For younger guests, there's a separate kids' pool. If you're looking to relax, the hotel has a spa with a Turkish bath and a sauna, which offers treatments such as massages. There are plenty of activities on offer, such as aerobics and aqua aerobics classes and a tennis court, as well as a gym. You can also have a game of pool in the games room. Twice a week, there's family-friendly entertainment, which includes live shows and quizzes. The hotel has a snack bar and a cafeteria, as well as a pool bar and a main bar that offer drinks late into the evening. There's also a buffet restaurant.
Best Club Cap Salou is within walking distance of the centre of Cap Salou, home to four golf courses and family-friendly attractions such as a theme park. If you're looking for a lively beach scene, the resort centre of Salou is a 3km drive from the hotel. Barcelona, the capital city of Catalonia, is a popular day trip option. Here, you can visit the modernist architecture of GaudÌ, which includes La Sagrada Familia cathedral. Other attractions include the beach-side district of Barceloneta, and a walk along Las Ramblas, the bustling pedestrianised shopping street, with outdoor markets and little squares leading off.
The buffet restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and offers Mediterranean cuisine. It has outdoor seating and a dedicated menu for children. Between meals, you can enjoy snacks such as sandwiches, ice cream, burgers and pasta, as well as coffee and tea. The bars serve a range of drinks, including cocktails.
Younger guests aged 3-10 can join in the fun at the kids' club, which has games and quizzes, and there's also a children's disco.
Rooms at Best Club Cap Salou are airy with dark wood furnishings. All come with air conditioning, a balcony or terrace and a flatscreen TV.

Please read my review before booking. PLEASE PLEASE
This hotel has had a major sickness issue and failed to inform guests or offer another hotel. Have stayed at this hotel before many times over last 20 years. Booked for September 22 . Food cold and same old every menu every day. Berger's ,Hotdogs and cold chips and fish so full of bones wonder why more people never chocked. Have reported to rep on site and he confirmed people were sick for days on end. Made complaint to Jet 2 on my return but you only get fobbed off. no seeing a refund through small claims court. Please reviews before you spend your money. Its up to you now.
Idea Location.
The hotel is good, the location is brilliant, food and drink are excellent. However, there are a few things travels should be aware of. Our holiday was slightly marred by the behaviour of some of the other guessed, regrettably English, who to my mind let the side down by not knowing how to behave. Sun Beds and umbrellas and space to put them around the pool was at a premium. If you wanted one, you had to get up early and wait until to pool attendant had finished his tasks, even then other guests arriving later placed their beds with complete disregard for your existence. There is a large area of sandy beach right nest to the pool deck, but the hotel would not allow guests to put the hotel sun beds on it. One small point, which was a surprise to me, the hotel does not provide towels for the pool and beach.
It was ok, but could have been so much better
Positives: The hotel itself is nice and the rooms are comfortable. There is a small private beach on its doorstep and good shops/restaurants nearby. The kids pool was great, my youngest one loved it. There is also a kids disco every night and entertainment. Negatives: very few staff speak good English, the bedsheets were rarely cleaned. In fact we had to use Google translate to leave notes asking the maids to change the sheets as they were dirty. The food selection in the dining area was horrific, we ate out every single day. I doubt the manager actually listens to bad reviews because the same issues are raised time and time again but no changes are implemented. The drinks in the all inclusive were pre-mixed junk. Not nice at all! And while the kids pool was good the areas around it were very slippery and I saw so many people fall. Also the walls are very thin, I was woke every night with kids crying in the room next to me. Not something you want to deal with when you are on vacation.
