We've just returned from 4 nights in the NH Malaga and really couldn't fault it for what we wanted. The location is perfect, you can catch the train from the airport for 2 euros to Malaga central station and it's literally 2 mins walk to the hotel, 2 minutes in the other direction over the bridge and you are directly in to the Old town and 5 minutes further, you are at the port and the beach. The staff at reception all spoke English and were very pleasant, nothing was too much trouble. We used the hotel gym a few times which is clean & well equipped, we didn't use the pool as the weather wasn't hot enough but it all looked very nice (although the picture on the website does make it look bigger than it is). Our room was very spacious, modern and immaculately clean with daily housekeeping if you wanted it. We didn't realise it was holy week when we booked so although it was noisy because of the processions that literally go on in front of the hotel, it was good to be able to have a birdseye view of them from our window. We didn't book breakfast so I can't comment on the food but with so many good value places to eat in the old town within 5 mins walking distance, sitting eating in a hotel is the last thing we wanted to do. I always judge a place on whether I would go back and in this case, I definitely would!

Good spot for visiting Malaga, specially during Semana Santa

Perfect location not far fro the old center, right next two churches where processions start. Can watch from the small oof top terrace / swimming pool. Comfortable rooms, large bath rooms, super breakfast.

Noisy Construction Adjacent To Hotel

Apr 2022 | John M

Lovely hotel in a great location but be warned there is a construction site directly behind the hotel, the work begins 0730 (earlier on some days). You won’t need an alarm clock!! We were in a superior room (146) directly above the works. No mention of this construction on the hotel website. IMO it’s there for a long time. The hotel did offer to look for another room but as we were there for 3 days and had already unpacked we didn’t bother. I wish we had We won’t be going back whilst these works are there
