Located on the Costa Blanca in Southern Spain, Benidorm was once a quiet fishing village but this buzzing beach resort is now one of the most popular holiday hotspots in Mainland Spain. Benidorm is ever popular with us Brits searching for a bit of sun, sea, sand and Spanish flavour. Benidorm may have a big reputation, thanks to its famous night time scene, but there’s so much more to Benidorm, Blue Flag beaches, authentic Tapas bars and a skyline filled with skyscrapers. This is one of the best locations in Europe to have a family holiday as there’s lots on offer to keep everyone happy from the themeparks and waterparks to the nature reserves and inviting Old Town.

Thrills and spills
Benidorm is brilliant for families, there’s lots to do, even for the little ones. Whether you’re a bunch of thrill-seekers or just looking for hours of family fun, Benidorm’s theme and water parks have something to suit everyone. Enjoy slides, splash parks and fun in the sun at Aqua Natura, there’s a fantastic range of attractions on offer for the little ones and the bigger ones too! If you’d prefer to stay dry, head for Terra Mitica for your thrills, although there’s no guarantee of that if you go on the log flume! There are plenty of rides to get your adrenaline pumping here and the kids have their own child-friendly replica rides.

Fun with nature
Benidorm has lot of opportunities for you to get close up to nature and wildlife. Mundomar is one of the most popular wildlife parks in the whole resort, with mainly tropical-themed animals. The stars of the show at Mundomar are the dolphins and sea lions, everyone loves to come and see them. There’s also a chance for you to swim with them. If you want to explore Benidorm’s natural beauty and wildlife at your own pace, take a trip over to Benidorm Island. This nature reserve has a large peacock population and many colourful flower displays for you to admire..
