Weather and climate

Temperature: Expect mid-20s to the low-30s (°C) in summer.

Best time to go: Choose in spring or autumn if you like it warm but not too hot.

Situated right on the Mediterranean Sea, the region enjoys one of Spain’s mildest climates. With over 300 days of sunshine a year, temperatures reach the 20s (°C) by April and it just keeps climbing from then on. Sizzling highs arrive in July and August. And if you like things slightly cooler, October is ideal for a little autumn sunshine.
