If you’re a sun-seeker, the summer months of June, July and August are the best times to visit Magaluf. Temperatures can be very warm, so if you’re travelling with little ones you might prefer the cooler months of May or September, which will still give you weather in the early 20s (°C).

Balearics Sustainable Tourism Tax: You’ll need to pay a Sustainable Tourism Tax which has been introduced by the Balearic Government to help with environmental and tourism improvements. The charge is between €1-4 per person per night, plus 10% VAT, subject to change, and varies based on the official star rating of your accommodation.   • GETTING AROUND

    By bus: For only a few euros per trip, you can travel around Magaluf. This is a great way to visit neighbouring resorts to explore the beaches, or a cheap way to get to popular attractions such as the waterpark.

    By taxi: Taxis are easy to come by on your Magaluf holiday, which are generally affordable for short journeys. A taxi from Palma Airport to your hotel will take approximately 30 minutes. Taxi ranks can be found in the centre of the resort.

    EVENTS

    BH Mallorca: This is the place to be if you’re looking for a non-stop party this summer. Formerly Mallorca Rocks, BH Mallorca is home to STAGE, which brings you all the big names, such as Steve Aoki, Tinie Tempah and Craig David. But the fun doesn’t just start when the sun goes down. There’s plenty to do here during the day too, including the hotel’s very own adult-only waterpark.
