Cala Bona – Weather
Located in Majorca, Cala Bona has a typical Mediterranean climate with hot summers and cool winters. Summer is the busiest time to visit, but it’s also the warmest with temperatures ranging from 21°C to 25°C. At midday, temperatures peak at 30°C in July and August, which is perfect weather for sunbathing on the beach before heading to the coast for a swim. The average sea temperature is around 21°C in June and September, but rises to highs of 26°C during the peak summer months. When you visit in summer, you’ll have long days with up to 12 hours of sunshine in June and 13 hours in July.
Cala Bona weather cools slightly in October, which sees highs of 23°C. Autumn is perfect if you prefer a cooler climate than the summer with fewer crowds on the beaches. The water is still warm enough for a swim at around 22°C. The sun shines for eight hours a day, giving you lots of time to sightsee and enjoy your day.
Temperatures in Cala Bona drop to 15°C in winter with nightly lows between 4°C and 5°C. There’s not much rain with just 35mm to 44mm per month from December to February.
