Where are the best beaches in Ibiza?

The beaches inIbiza are some of the best in all the Balearic Islands. The beach at San Antonio Bay is great for water sports, head to Cala Comte for some of the best sunsets on the island and Benirras Beach and Las Salinas is where you can get a real taste of the hippy way of life.

Cala Xuclar and Atlantis beaches are hidden gems where you can escape for the day to get away from the crowds. Or Sa Caleta beach has shallow waters against a backdrop of dramatic red cliffs, and whilst you’re there sample the best paella served on the island in one of the beach front restaurants.

Can I go to Ibiza in January or February?

Ibiza is a mainly summer destination so in the winter months it is more difficult to get flights from the UK and they are unlikely to be direct. The temperature is between 8-15 degrees, dress in layers with t-shirts and jumpers in the daytime whilst in the evening you will need to take a warm coat. The winter months are generally quiet with a few local festivals to entertain visitors and of course not all of the island’s amenities and attractions maybe open out of season, so check before you go.
