Downtown Edmonton is the central business district of Edmonton. But it should not be mistaken for being all about tall skyscrapers. This area is home to some of Edmonton best hotels, such as the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald & The Westin Edmonton. In the downtown area you will also find the City Hall, Edmonton Law Courts and a number of theatres. The Winspear Centre and the Citadel Theatre being two of the most prominent.
At 5.3 million square feet West Edmonton Mall has everything you can need all under one roof. Over 800 shops, a casino and waterpark are just part of what is available. The Mall also includes two hotels, the Fantasyland and West Edmonton Mall Inn. Just 5 minutes by car or 15 minutes by public transport there are also a number of other hotels located to the north of the Mall.
