I stayed here four nights and everything went well. The hotel was very clean and in good condition. Just like in the photos. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was nice; peaceful area and the tram, metro and bus goes nearby. The single room was good choice for me since I was travelling solo. The bed was pleasant. I slept very well and didn’t hear too much noises from other rooms or corridor. I didn’t go to the spa so I can’t say anything about that. The breakfast was fine. I have no reason to complain and when I some day visit Amsterdam again I’ll most likely choose this hotel.

Terrible and untrustworthy staff

I booked a junior suite for me and my family. The photographs on Hotels.com and the website showed a bathtub in addition to bigger space. Having done two nights at the sister apartment hotel at the Airport, I had high expectations. On arrival, the automatic check in system failed and the room cards failed to activate. I went to a desk and got that sorted. Went to the room and was highly disappointed. Went back down to reception who told me that the room I am expecting was there cockpit suite and was more expensive. I said I need to change or cancel my reservation as it is booked through an agency, and they said they would be happy to help seeing as we just checked in. Rang Hotels.com to ask them to cancel this hotel and the Manager point blankly refused to cancel as the reservation type was non-refundable, even though we had only just got there. Coffee machine in the bedroom served cold coffee so asked downstairs to try the coffee near the lift which was broken and would not accept the chip coin they gave me. In the end, they brought me a small cappuccino which was ok. Extremely disappointing and overpriced. Save your money and stay elsewhere. Not one person has offered to chase up on the fact we wanted to cancel or reached out to us. As long as they get their money, they don’t care! Chalk and Cheese standards to the Correndon Village Hotel at the Airport compared to the city.

We left in this hotel on Friday 22nd of July and due to Farhan from reception we had a really good time. He was very open-minded, friendly and easy-coming, it was a pleasure to meet him. We 100% would like to come back due to such kind of greetings. Thanks a lot, Farhan! :)
