Agadir – Weather
Agadir is known for its year-round warm climate and its golden beaches. The resort is located in North Africa, but it tends to be hotter than its neighbouring cities because of its proximity to the coastline and welcoming sea breeze. Summer runs from May to November with temperatures beginning at 20°C in May and peaking at around 26°C in July and August. With 11 hours of sunshine per day, there’s more than enough time to explore the region and enjoy a lazy day on the beach. Rainfall is more likely to occur in October and November, but it’s nothing major. October has an average rainfall of 22mm that increases slightly in November to around 29mm, which means there are no more than three rainy days per month.
Strong winds from the Sahara Desert can send the weather in Agadir rising almost 10°C, which is very hot and the odd sandstorm is also a possibility. Temperatures in Agadir in winter fluctuate a lot with a daily average ranging from 22°C and 26°C before plummeting to 8°C at night.
Agadir weather in December is quite wet compared to the rest of the year and there’s an expected rainfall of 63mm over five days of the month.
