stayed for 4 night in january, had some accor points to use so heavily discounted 1/2 board basis. rooms were a bit on the small side and no balcony (both of which we knew before booking. ate dinner in the hotel the 1st night after arriving late, wasn't up to much but we were like the last 5 mins of service. Lunch the next day was much better in the italian restaurant on the ground level where we also used our free welcome drinks. breakfast was good, nice selection and not too crowded. bed was probably a bit soft for our taste and felt like it sloped untoward the centre so both has a bit of a backache on return. corridors on the 10th floor felt quite uneven underfoot, almost tripped on uneven carpeting a few times. gym, pool common areas all fine.

Victim of a criminal act

After pondering over for several weeks, i have finally decided to leave a review in the public interest, as everyone should know the true face of this terrible hotel and some of its staff, and the danger it poses to it's unaware guests. A criminal act took place in my hotel room, large amount of cash was stolen from the room safe. One hundred dollar bills were replaced by $1 bills, so i would not detect the crime immediately. In spite of my several complaints, proper investigation was never carried out, and the duty manager was never investigated who had the master key of the safe. I even complained to the Accor Group and came back to UAE to file a report with the Police, but it was a well thought out crime by a professional group. For your safety and security stay away from this place .
