The hotel is superb. Great location only a ten min walk to the Cathedral, and a twenty minute walk to the river. The welcome from the staff was warm and courteous, we were offered a drink while our check in was complete Rooms were roomy and clean and the bed was very comfortable, air con worked well and was needed as it was very hot outside Can’t recommend the Hotel enough , a great place to stay when visiting Florence

This is far from 5 stars. Property nice. Lots of issues bad service. For the money spent here go elsewhere

Great location. Big rooms. That’s it. We had 2 rooms. One the AC did not work AT ALL. the solution was “it’s your problem. You can leave”. During the high season in the summer when there is no hotel available. Horrible rude front desk manager. The following day we were moved to another room after an unbearable night. General manager apologized- but that’s it. Many other issue with bookings for dinners, yours etc. we fended for ourselves. There was no service. Also very noisy at night from the street. Elevators take forever

This hotel was one of our favorites of all times. It is conveniently located about 10 minutes walk from the train station, bus station, Duomo and Uffizi. It is impeccably clean and the staff is professional and efficient. The delicious breakfast every morning fueled us for the day ahead. The room was cool and comfortable. We had massages at the spa which were relaxing after a long day of travel. I visited the spa area and enjoyed the steam room, the sauna, and the jacuzzi. (Note - book a time at the front desk and bring your towel, robe, slippers, and water from your room.) We can’t say enough good things about Firenze Number Nine!
