Italy - currency

The currency in Italy is the Euro (EUR)

In keeping with the rest of the EU, the Euro is the only form of legal tender in Italy. You’ll see it represented as either ‘EUR’ or €. Euros can be easily picked up at any major supermarket or for ease, order online and get your cash delivered straight to your door. Don’t like to carry around loose change? Our travel money cards offer competitive rates at the touch of a button.

If you’ve overspent during a spot of retail therapy at Venetian Riviera, there are ATMs across all major cities known as  ‘Bancomats’ where you can withdraw more Euros. However, there’s usually a maximum withdrawal limit of €250 per day.  And you can always use your debit card to make purchases, but be sure to let your bank know you're travelling to avoid any pesky charges.
