It's hard to pick a fault

I stayed at Hotel Igea in July 2022 and found it very difficult to find any fault. My room wasn't anything superior, just a normal room, but found it more than spacious, the bathroom was also very spacious. The curtains were very thick to ensure darkness when the sun comes up, large HD TV, mini-fridge which was very welcome in the climate and bed was comfy. The only negative sides about the hotel room was one or two areas of dust in high places which had clearly been continually missed and no bedside power sockets for charging devices. Staff were very friendly and professional, were more than happy to hold my luggage after checking out and the hotel restaurant is also an excellent standard with large, good quality portions. Very warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere and a good value for money. If I return to Brescia, I would definitely stay here again.

Great location for the station and metro

We had an initial issue with our air conditioning not working but the team at the hotel moved us to another room which was much cooler. Staff are very nice and the breakfast is amazing value. Very close to the station and metro so ideal if you want to travel the area as we did. Iseo on the lakes a great day out by train.

Our Worst Italy Hotel

The hotel was dated, it had a musty smell to it and I thought a little old smoke smell too. The bed was terrible, beyond terrible. I complained at checkout and the girl seemed shocked to hear it. It was sagging in the middle it was so over-used and old. There was a water drop mark on the ceiling from an upstairs room and I could tell where the ceiling had been repaired due to water damage too. The AC had a control unit in the room which didn't work, the temperature would not adjust even a single degree. The room didn't have an extra blanket in the closet and we were asked why we didn't come to the front desk (at night) to request one. The breakfast was bad, period. Everything was pre-packaged, a poor selection overall. The bacon was mixed, some was good other was soggy. The eggs were drowning in water. The juice was watered down, but the cappuccino/hot chocolate machine was the only breakfast highlight. They do have a free parking garage you can use which is secure, and you have to put down a 50 euro deposit for the card, which is returned upon checkout. Unloading bags in front of the hotel was tough, there is no parking anywhere, so we pulled right up to the curb and had buses going around us while unloading bags. The location was further off the highway than I expected, we considered another hotel that has the name of a color which was right along the road and I fully regret not taking a room there. Igea was near a bus terminal, but there were a lot of people hanging around 24/7 and between where you park a car and the hotel.
